In the fourth grade reading a Classics Illustrated comic book, I learned that Columbus sailed west seeking a new spice route to India because Muslim marauders had cut off the Silk Road trade with their caravan robbing.

And muzzies now claim that Columbus had a Muslim navigator. Would have gone way off course if he had, one would think.
