The problem with conquest is not the battles or the fight, it’s keeping it once you got it. Expansion is tough for any organization.

But I believe ISIS will have an advantage different than most conquests because they’re not PC. They slaughter all that could be a threat to them.
Which leaves behind a lot of new enemies which may have been neutral to your cause out of self prservation, a common happening in Islam.
