Dallas County judge talks Ebola (Clay Jenkins Democrat Ebola Pimp)

A second health care worker tests positive for Ebola in Dallas.

One of the men coordinating the response to the virus talks about the possibility of more cases in the health care community.

"My job is the next 15 minutes", said Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins. "So I've kind of torn off the rear view mirror. Honestly, my job in this was everything but hospital care. Until Nina got sick. And now I've been looking at the hospital too. But I'm not a doctor. I'm not a hospital administrator. I was tasked with stopping this Ebola virus. And we thought that that was out in the community. And now we're seeing it's in the hospital.

"I think we're looking at a new 21 days every time someone gets sick. And so it's going to be important - we've got some heroes out there in the health care community. And we've got some heroes working, you know standing here next to me that are getting very little sleep. Had more grown men cry this week than I care to see.

Why is a judge even involved?

To get face time on TV.

Get the name out there for a while so everybody knows it.

Then run for a state office, say Land Commissioner?

This guy reeks of dem politics and this is just truckloads of free air time.

.

I saw him on TV today at the Dallas press conference. Why is a judge involved in this at all?

The same assclown that struck down the Texas Voter ID law.

What's your source for that claim? Jenkins doesn't like the Voter ID law, and he has encouraged lawsuits to strike it down, but he was never in a position to issue a ruling.

The County Judge in Texas presides over the County Commissioners. He has a few judicial duties, but he is a politician and this office is the top political office in the county.

He’s not a black robed sitting in a courtroom judge. “Judge” is just the title of the head honcho of Dallas county.

I understand now. Thank you. He’s essentially the County Executive, correct?

Boy! Texas isn’t doing so hot if this guy is in an elected office. Mercy! What role do the County Commissioners have over this health matter? Is that like a County Board of Supervisors??

The County Judge is specifically responsible for emergency preparedness, civil defense, and disaster relief. Don’t know what their specific powers are related to quarantine and control of epidemics.

This judge is an attention whore. Like all Democrats, he wants to take credit for something someone else paid for. When a local church donated a home for the Ebola guy's family, this judge rode in the limo with them to their new home, as if the money for it came out of his own pocket.

This is what infuriates me most about the Democrat party: They vote tax increases to give presents to their constituents that they take the credit for, not the taxpayers.

Democrats are worse than the Jews that Jesus condemned for making a big show of their offering. At least they gave their own money, whereas Democrats take credit for gifts from taxpayers.
