It seems everyone involved in caring for these projectile pukers needs to go back to bandaid school. My jaws lock up trying to spit out the level of incompetence from bottom to top coming from this crowd. What the bleep did they all learn in school? I guess they are all “special” and just learned one simple-ass thing that was good enough to make a living doing. But most of us learned how to handle communicable diseases somewhere back around 4th grade in the chicken little nursery school. Every now and then I take someone to the E room and am always amazed at how many freeking people it takes to get someone patched up-—nobody there knows more than one thing. No wonder so many people can get sick off one hurler.
Not so fast. No one has “mentioned” yet whether Duncan was a Muzzie or not. If he was a Muzzie then it’s a short step to expecting he was a sick jihadi. And how better for a jihadi that knows he’s a goner to try to infect a bunch of infidels on his way out? Closing your mind to realistic possibles delays solving the problem. And why don’t we know his religion, if he had one? Surely The Grand Kenyan would have wanted a proper burial?
There are VA clinics that have opened up all over the Houston area. I go to one that is never crowded. No waiting whatsoever. I have to wonder if they’re not there to be opened to the public eventually.
Planning a wedding is what I think I heard on the news.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

So I am “mentally ill” because I am expressing my view on the subject? Is that not what we do here on Free Republic—engage in expressing our views and beliefs based on empirical evidence? Thomas Eric Duncan lied on his airport screening questionnaire, Liberian authorities had reported, and when he returned there, they were going to prosecute him to the highest level; when he filled out an airport questionnaire, he answered “no” to questions about whether he had cared for an Ebola patient or touched the body of someone who had died—when he in fact he helped a pregnant woman in Monrovia get to a hospital, where she later died of Ebola. Six days after arriving in the United States, Mr. Duncan became ill and went to the hospital, where he told the ER staff he had been in Liberia; he was evaluated, examined, likely bloods drawn, and then sent home after being told he had an infection. That’s where that Dallas hospital dropped the ball initially, as the information gathered from the blood tests were not shared with certain members of the ER staff (either doctors who were in charge of whether to discharge or admit) or personnel who were triaging Mr. Duncan. When he came back two days later, his body’s system had reached full viral load (in the throes of massive infection). Within days he was dead.
Freedom of Speech, among other freedoms, is what The Constitution of the United States of America protects. The head of our current administration is tenaciously going about destroying that freedom, calling out anyone who holds views contrary to his as “racist”, “fear-mongering” or “hate speech”. Eventually it will come to those who speak out against his views and policies as being mentally unstable—especially Christians. Obama called the Constitution an “old outdated document that should be discarded”. In what he holds of his vision for his re-created America, you will have no freedoms whatsoever; you will live where you are told, eat what they say, sleep when they say, work where they say, and watch and listen to what they say to.
I pray that our great nation will not have to go through this. There are other nations that have, and people from these countries come to America to flee the iron grip their governments had on their lives. Now they see our country headed in the same direction...where will they flee to then?
