I don't know about the majority of our readers around here, but we were taught to keep our fingers away from our faces in the kindergartens of the 50's, and advised to wash hands frequently...in hot water...with soap! Have the common rules of basic hygiene, and the reasons for following them, been lost to such an extent that in the 21st century we now find ourselves succumbed to reading such juvenile tracts?
