Let's see. An unelected person in DC is now dictating what children in the entire country can and cannot eat for lunch.
So much for the 10th Amendment.
Oh, and one more thing. Highlighting stupid lib policies like this one should be the cornerstone of the GOP platform. Everyone can see how wrong this is. Yet the GOP leadership remains silent.

I heard a school district was planning to put cameras overlooking the trashcans so as to document the amount of waste. But heard that the goal was not to identify students throwing out food, just to show how much was being disposed of.

The children are voting via the trash can. They vote no to Moochelle the brainless who has blown about 4 billion on this vanity program. But got lots of affirmative action Federal drones hired to administer it

When is someone finally going to realize that Michelle is a private citizen and that she has no immunity from lawsuits. She has no statutory authority to implement any mandatory program anywhere.

Michelle's food regulations -- another Liberal success story ...
BZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
WRONG! Another Lib idea failed by unintended consequences.
(CNSNews.com) In the first two years since First Lady Michelle Obama launched her Lets Move campaign to fight childhood obesity in 2010, teenage obesity rates increased, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). From 2009-2010, 18.4 percent of children ages 12-19 were classified as obese, according to the CDC. Since then, from 2011-2012, one in five children ages 12-19 or 20.5 percent, were classified as obese, an increase of 11.4 percent. The CDC has been tracking these data since 1966-1970, and at that time only 4.6 percent of teens were classified as obese.

They wouldn't need cameras. They could just count the number of filled trashcans being carted out on a daily basis.

I wish I had the inside skinny (so to speak) with one of these schools.
All of that wasted food would make AWSOME compost - or I could feed it to the hogs at a tidy profit.
Better yet, I could make my own methane gas to power my lawnmower!
What a bunch of IDIOTS we have running this country. And she’s got NO AUTHORITY WHATSOEVER over these schools. Why comply? Because Her Lard@ssness SAYS SO? Ridiculous.

Actually, the solution to Moochelle’s new unforeseen problem is obvious. Take away the school trash cans so the kids can’t throw their lunches in the trash. Coming to a public school near you. (sarc)
To: Oldeconomybuyer
I encourage kids to bring in food to sell to their classmates. At least they’ll learn something about running a business. And once they become successful, they’ll gain firsthand knowledge of oppressive government.

I heard a school district was planning to put cameras overlooking the trashcans... The goal of that plan (in cali I believe) was that, since the wastage of taxpayer dollars on food was not enough, they could waste more taxpayer dollars on purchasing/installing and then fixating cameras on the wasted food (to say nothing about the manpower to view, study, tabulate, correlate to global warming, etc, all the hours of video.

School Districts and PTAs and City Managers: Organize and coordinate local sanitation crews to bring one day’s worth of the thrown out Michelle-mandated cafeteria food from the D.C., Maryland and Virginia schools and dump it all in a pile in front of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, D.C. Think “Boston Tea Party.”

I don't know if you know who runs the waste disposal industry, but let me assure you, it ain't the Boy Scouts! The mafia used to divide commercial trash collection into territories. My dad had a factory and tried to hire another company. He was unable to.
This was in a large city.
