Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

With today’s technology I wouldn’t touch the site for a second. No reason to think if the outcome of your site visit, shows suspicion of disease, that ‘they’ wouldn’t use your IP address and track you down for a visit from Big Brother !!!

Stay away.

LOL. You think the government is going to target you for looking at the website of a French Medical organization, but NOT target you for posting in a radical right wing forum. Ha ha. Whatever you are smoking, I don’t want any.

“and they still have 60% of their doctors and nurses DYING. FUBO”

Where in the world do you get that idea?
http://www.msf.org/article/ebola-workers-risk-tragic-reality-ebola-response-west-africa

They have been rotating workers in there every 4-6 weeks since March 13th at multiple treatment centers. The workers live in the area and could potentially have other exposure as well as extreme exposure on the job daily. 14 contracted it and eight died. For what you say to be true their entire multi-site operation for seven months of rotating people in and out would have had to staff only 24 people. NOT! Actually as of Aug they had 676 staff. That would be about a 2% infection rate. If you believe some of the freepers around here, just the fact that they are in those countries gives them a near 100% chance of getting the disease.
