I’m not good at calling DC, but this ebola thing got me to call 3 of them, 2 are big time libs too! It was surprisingly easy to just call and start listing my demands to have the (fake)president do his job.
On the first call, to Pocan, I was going along so good I threw in a few jabs about how he has plenty of time for golf and fundraising but won’t protect us from ebola.
Now that felt good to say that to a dem.
I reminded mine this morning that I called them TWO weeks ago with the same message. (I was a little ahead of the curve).
And they agreed with me that the flights had to be stopped.
They log in all the calls-so congratulations—you are in a database now.
But that can’t be helped.
If I am going off in a box car someday, at least it will be for many worthwhile things.
I figure most on FR are in the database for “take them to the re-education camps” anyway.(sarcasm in neutral, not sure)
Over 2 years of this to go...it’s excruciating.
When I spoke with Congressman Ron Johnson’s rep (Tea Party guy, who has strayed a bit-Wisconsin) she was in awe that Reagan was prez when I got married. She exclaimed “the best president ever” or something like that. I told her he was the first prez I was old enough to vote for. She said she is 22. I complimented her on being savvy at her age about politics and in the current situation with schools and media brain-washing so many young Americans.
I was surprised that Mark Pocan’s phone gal was very nice and agreeable. Even when I laid on her that O’Bola sure golfs and fundraises a lot while not protecting us from dangers.
It was a good experience to call. I will do it more often from now on. I used to just write letters (snail mail).
