Did you actually think the debate over "gay marriage" was about marriage? Have you really come to believe that this cultural kerfuffle has anything to do with "civil rights" or "equality"? Have you bought into the popular premise that this is a legitimate discussion on federalism – that it's a reasonable disagreement over whether the U.S. Constitution's equal protection clause requires that newfangled "gay marriage," something rooted in same-sex sodomy, a deviant and disease-prone behavior our Constitution's framers officially declared "the infamous crime against nature," be made law of the land?
A lot of people have, so don't feel bad. A lot of reasonable, well-meaning and even, at times, intelligent people have taken the bait.
But that's all window dressing. It's superficial. It's collateral. It's chaff, a diversion, a squirrel. Don't chase it.

That’s true, “GAY MARRIAGE” isn’t about equality at all. It’s TAXES. When our politicians, because they are the smartest people in the, passed a law concerning taxing married people differently, than single people, the GAY COMMUNITY figured they had better get in on the action. That’s when this “GAY MARRIAGE” got to be born. If we change the TAX structure, where every one is taxed equally, you won’t hear any more about “GAY MARRIAGE”

He didn’t venture into the idea that the goal of the left is not just to win a worldview argument - they seek to criminalize Christian beliefs to the point that they can use the power of the State to punish and exterminate those who ascribe to them.
Every attack Progressives have mounted for decades has been aimed at the FAMILY. They have known all along. Wilson said his goal was to make a man as little like his father as possible. Their best play is to redefine words. Duplicity and deceit are the tactics of the Left. (Sound familiar?). If they can destroy the family there will be no opposition. They have been chipping away for a hundred years. They have never made their strategy secret. By changing the definition they can lie about what it is they are up to. They can even get all sanctimonious about their intentions. Just like they do when they claim to support the Constitution. Not the one you and I know and carry around but their “redefined” living version of it. When a Rat gets all huffy and accuses one of challenging his support for “families” just remember what “families” he is talking about.
As above queer marriage has always been a sham. Even in their so called marriages male homosexuals have little interest in monogamy. Notice the media always trots out a couple homely spinsters as the poster children for queer marriage. What percentage of queer couples do you suppose are homely spinsters? Damn few I suspect. Agree. This is not about anything other than destroying the traditional family and an attack on religion, mostly Christianity. Every pillar of American morality has been under attack since the late 1960s by the hard core radical left with the singular goal of destroying western civilization. It reached a peak with the election of Obama and has made rapid and very significant advances under his leadership.

Children of homosexual “marriage” will be taught that anything goes with sex. And they will provide a continual supply for the left’s pedophile proclivities.
No, it's about sin and satan perverting God's holy will for HIS creation.
So it follows that those who push an agenda that is contrary to God's will are being used by the father of lies and don't even know it.
Not an indictment because we all fall short in the eyes of a Holy God. Point is, there is good and then there is evil. It is taught in scripture that as we move toward the day Christ pierces the clouds, good will be called evil and evil good.
