Falls?
I paid .99/gal in 1999 in Rockville MD.
It’s now down to $3.30/gal and we get news articles about a glut.

Fell below $3.00 here just today for the first time in years. It was $3.15 yesterday, I thought that was cheap and filled up.

Howie Carr told a moonbat that the price of gas was $1.81 when Bush left office. The moonbat flatly refused to believe him.

I remember when gasoline prices went up or down during the Bush Administration, the leftwing news sites always explained why Bush was moving the prices up (to punish voters for whatever! his Saudi controllers told him to!) or moving the prices down (election coming up! Halliburton has to move more equipment into their war zones!).
The president does not move the price of oil up or down. Anybody who could control the price of oil wouldn't need to be president - he'd be the richest most powerful man on his own.
