It robs one of ambition.
Maybe it would make the ebola virus chill......
I notice there are a lot of people over at Democratic Underground who are very pro-marijuana.
Draw your own conclusions.
A 20 year old I know was recently diagnosed as schizophrenic here in Washington state, where recreational pot is legal. I was looking up info on the illness, and was surprised when I found the pot use-schizophrenia link in young users. It was on the NAMI website. I was disappointed that this info wasn’t shouted out when pot was on the ballot here. Oh, of course, you have to be 21.... Baloney. Choose between the drug war or teens and young adults developing schizophrenia? I don’t have to think about it after watching how this has devastated my friend’s family. Schizophrenia and other psychotic illnesses are nothing you would ever “choose” for anyone. Ever.

It's easy to control those who have no self control.
Which is exactly the kind of customer that you want if you're selling something like pot.
Turned Obama into an Empty Shell
Quite suddenly, there has been a lot of rumbling about the evils of marijuana, now that it is beginning to be legalized at the state level. Suddenly articles are sprouting up all over the place in the media about how it’s bad for one’s health.
The timing is beyond suspicious. It reeks of a manipulation attempt.
There’s a hell of a lot of people in this country who make a fine living fighting the “war on drugs” on behalf of the American taxpayer.
For law enforcement, seizing the assets of pot growers is lucrative, and flying around in helicopters all day looking for a pot plant is very expensive, albeit fun for the cops involved. Then there’s the swat raids, giving cops the chance to play badass military. Just a hunch, but I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that some federal agency somehow has a hand in this flurry of recent articles.
