They were being criticized for discriminatory treatment of a black man. I am sure some of that was over compensating. They had to worry about lawsuits WHILE they were worrying about treatment.
Well - it is a Republic - a very independent and strong republic at that...not surprising...I think it went where it was going to go - he’s just making sure all the doors are open !
Just wait till our 3000 ill-prepared, untrained troops start coming back from "Operation 0bolo" in africa.
LOL! No, that photo IS the federal government!
Where’s the part that says “before you do this, spray down the suited individuals exterior with 5% hypochlorite solution”???
it is exactly as if they WANT to spread this disease.
Generations from now when the survivors study the Great Ebola Pandemic in history class, they'll be awestruck at the stupidity of the intelligent, educated, technologically-advanced Western world. The teacher will ask the class, "What did America do wrong? They did everything wrong!"
Obols has blood on his hands!
Yes, were these 70 people who risked their lives racists?
And don’t get manicures, which open up hundreds of micro-dermabrasions around the fingertips, which you’re using to remove infected gloves. Seal off hand skin with petroleum jelly to form a protective coat as you start your workday.
While there's no real bright side here, you know that doctor, who even though he's not on your case, stops by for 5 minutes when no one else is around, takes your pulse and later that mysterious charge of 10K appears on your bill for additional consultation? It sucks to be him right now.
Wheres the part that says before you do this, spray down the suited individuals exterior with 5% hypochlorite solution???
That part seems to be missing. Where’s the part that explains proper hazmat suit use and taping of gloves, boots, zippers, mask, etc? Must’ve missed that, too.
How would the CDC be responsible? It was the hospital who sent him home originally on his first visit, blame their protocols.
Do we want the CDC (big government) deciding how hospitals run their business?
We have plenty of smart people in this country; many of them work in medicine.
Ebola has killed exactly one person here so far.
And then, they should be degowned by others who are fully gowned.
Or is my hazmat training that out of date ?
How was the hospital supposed to know. The CDC and the Feds dumped a whole bunch of info down at the lat minute about Ebola. It is not entirely the Dallas hospitals’ fault when Duncan initially lied about his Ebola exposure, and the CDC tests turned him up negative at the airport. The CDC isn’t being honest with the American citizen, and are a disgrace to their office.
You’re back! Thank God. We were worried about you and your wife. Everything OK???
Sheesh. What fun. Reminds me of the time my cat bit me while getting a rabies shot after tangling with a bat.
I gotta tell ya man, your calmness in all of this is quite impressive.
No problema -- the voter ID laws have been judicially revoked.
It’s mind boggling that the procedure for dealing with this falls far short of the prescribed means of approaching a spill or cleanup of something like pentachlorophenol or hydrofluoric acid.
I’ve suited up an order of magnitude over this just to stand bottle watch on the supplied air suited guys emptying out a semi trailer filled with essentially household chemicals and paints!
