Under Islam all women are slaves, worth less than cattle.

UNTRUE. My husband and I worked and lived in Saudi Arabia for five years and saw, with our own eyes, how the women lived.

In the KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) ALL marriages are arranged by the MATRIARCHS of the family. THAT is their tradition. They marry cousins, first, second and third cousins to KEEP the land and money in the family. EVERY child, male or female, grows up knowing that.

If a woman is beaten/abused by her husband, then HER family, both immediate and extended, are insulted and HIS family has HELL to pay.

Women are an extension of the family's honor so MISTREATING women, that is, wives, is mistreating the entire family. It's been that way for as long as there have been Muslim families in that part of the world. That is their tradition.

I know you loathe everything Muslim, but they aren't the beasts that you might think they are. My Saudi boss was the kindest, gentlest, most humble man I ever met outside my priest-first cousin from Mexico.

My BOSS is the one who allowed me to "go to pray" whenever I wanted. That translated into daily Mass for me. Yes, we had a priest living on our camp and I started going to DAILY MASS (9:00 A.M. and I made up the time at lunch.) in SAUDI ARABIA, thanks to my MUSLIM boss, Mohammad Hussein.
BOTTOM LINE: Does God work in mysterious ways or what?

I STILL go to daily Mass! Shukran, Mohammad Hussein.
