In The Strain they put the patients in a supersealed glass box with uranium-type process gloves to touch the patient. Might be faster and cheaper than building thousands of suits, but your idea is great.
Now a Kansas patient.
There joke of a screening protocol shows the CDC does not have a clue or, if they actually do have a plan, have been overridden by the current cabal occupying the White Hut.
The IG should do an investigation of what ever happened to the contingency planning budget and the directorate if there is such a department. Someone wasted a boatload of money.
Pulling a binder off the shelf counseling the spokesclowns to repeat the “remain clam” mantra is not protecting Americans.
One of the largest grocery stores in Houston is out of bottled water they had on sale. It was fifty cents off of a 32 bottle case. Not that big of a discount so that’s not why it sold out. Management seemed surprised they had run out. Hopefully people are paying attention.
And no one is calling for the flights from Africa to be stopped.
It might be a challenge dealing with vomit and diarrhea. You would need a way to clean inside the suit and vacuum it out.
Once it gets to pandemic stage the official republican response will be “We need to all work together to try to save as many lives as we can. This is no time for politics.”
To those with half a brain, but the number of Americans who are either too blind or stupid to see the truth is staggering. I hope that those on DU or crooks and liars aren’t typical people sucking up and shilling for government, but I have a bad feeling there’s a couple more suckers for the ones that you hear talking out on the web.
You suck up to the Democratic Party and/or Obama to get the job nowadays, no merit required.
One of the newsies on the LIVE WFAA reporting yesterday morning said that Texas Presbyterian has now been designated as the facility for all area ‘adult’ Ebola cases and a children’s hospital had been designated for all ‘child’ Ebola cases.
I have not seen any other articles or news outlets repeating that.

It would seem that they are trying to prepare for a larger outbreak.
It sounds like those paying attention are fast figuring it out.
On the other hand, it is likely our Leading Edge CDC will tell everybody to start stocking up on extra water and food probably, oh, sometime just before Christmas - just before the massive regional 60 day mandatory quarantines start. All the grocery stores will look like the day before the hurricane hits and people will be demanding the government "do something" about their own personal emergencies.
In a sane world, that would be considered 150 “protocol breaches” a day.
“It might be a challenge dealing with vomit and diarrhea. You would need a way to clean inside the suit and vacuum it out.”
Nope, it stays in the bag. Perhaps collected at a the low point and dosed with UV to kill the pathogens.
Bubbette works across the street from Presby. She knows the whole history of the hospital.
It's hard to keep it a secret when a nurse with many close co-workers gets infected, but it's probably easy to keep it a secret when immigrants and other less-connected people get infected.
I too suspect that there are other cases confirmed... eventually someone like Judicial Watch will have to sue the government to find out.
He feeeeeeels awful. How about accepting some responsibility for spreading lies about how very contagious this virus is.
Essentially, the CDC has been outwitted by a very tiny virus. A determined virus. Our “leaders” should exhibit half that determination.
Yeah, any hospital can handle ebola, handle it transfer it spread it, you just have to understand CDC speak.
Yes, hopefully they are.
I agree with your take on that.
Ebola-killing ROBOT destroys the virus in minutes
San Antonia-based Xenex has designed a robot called Little Moe (pictured) that can kill viruses. It works by using pulses of xenon light to disinfect surfaces in five minutes. Blasts of light are sent out in a 10ft (three metre) radius every 1.5 seconds.
This can remove Ebola from surfaces in a room in just two minutes
Every hospital in America should have one of these.......I was told by a nurse that they need 3 rooms to treat an Ebola patient...one for the patient.. one to put on the protective clothing and one to take off the protective clothing.......and that is the biggest risk , taking off the gear and clothing......and they have to have double doors and have to have a negative pressure so that air is sucked into the rooms only.....so put little Moe in the room that they take off the protective gear turn it on for a few minutes and kill all the ebola viruses in the room and on the outside of their protective gear before they take the gear off.....
