Dry Cheerios has been my snack of choice for years. It’s the only brand that doesn’t taste like sawdust. I’m having a hard time living in this world.
I guess I will have to go back to Kellog’s OKs. Oh wait, they haven’t made that in years!
Companies other than GM make comparable products.
The very best substitute I’ve found is HEB’s (a Texas Store) Toasted O’s. I think they are better than Cheerios. They also hold up better when you have milk with them.
I’m going to go with rice cakes with a hechsher (kosher
certification) from now on. I do own up to purchasing
single serving Cheerios several times.
