Granted. Without qualifiers. The child (whom God made) is adorable (in the modern sense of the word). And therefore... WHAT, exactly? Therefore, the child’s “adorableness” gives legitimacy to what we’ve done? Therefore, if you object to anything we’re doing, you’re a cold-hearted bigot who wants to crush the dreams of adorable children, kill puppies, and laugh at the deaths of kittens?
It’s interesting: when insane, logic doesn’t work very well, but some fallacies (such as appeal to emotion) seem to work just swimmingly...
