Scientists and others on a team assembled by the Chicago-based Heartland Institute, which focuses on free-market solutions to today’s problems, say the “scare” of global warming from the use of carbon fuels and other human activities “is over.”
It’s “past time” for the world to realize that and “stop the madness of wasting great sums of money on EPA’s imaginary threat,” contends Kenneth Haapala, the executive vice president of the Science and Environmental Policy Project at the Heartland Institute.
Institute experts said Thursday the Remote Sensing Systems, which provide data to NASA, NOAA and the National Science Foundation, have confirmed “the global mean surface temperature has not risen for 18 consecutive years.”

You mean the di**me chix and bruce skidstain? And the idiots still think that “born in the USA” is a great song. Kinda like “senators son” by fogfarty. Sad thing is some of the non-political music is pretty good. Well except for skidstain. He never found the bucket to carry a tune.
Which, to a logical mind, points to the fact that the “crises” are just “excuses” for what they want to do anyway - sort of like Islam’s popularity with the criminal class.

Never mind that China produces almpst twice the CO2 that the US does.
So even though reducing CO2 in the US will have virtually no effect whatsoever on worldwide CO2 levels, it is the thought that counts.
I have always been a skeptic when it comes to “Global Warming” however, there seems to be some truth to the Climate Change theory. For instance, not more than two months ago, I was sitting on the front porch and drinking my morning coffee, while watching all the birds empty my bird feeder. But over the last week, I can’t seem to sit outside without a jacket, and the birds.. Well, the birds are all gone! does it seem to be getting colder to you?
Maybe there IS more to climate change!
