I just watched this interview over breakfast and a cup of coffee. It's well worth your time and answers most questions that I have ever heard regarding this debate.

The man is a traitor. Under the pretense of being all about letting us know that the government spies on us (which we’ve all known for years), he outed our agents and their sources in the most dangerous places in the world, whose intelligence has been helping to keep us safe. He did 5% good and 95% damage to this country.

I disagree. There was no way to expose their wrongdoing that would have done it otherwise.
America has become a secrecy, security and surveillance state. This is the exact opposite of what the republic was meant to be. And no free pass because the bad guys walk among us. THEY brought them here on purpose, so they are not in any way interested in stopping guys like Major Hassan. Hell, they knew Hassan was in email contact with Al Qeida and still promoted his silly ass. They have imported the bearded savages wholesale washing their dirt feet in the sinks of public restrooms. They sell guns to the Cartels and lie about it. So surveillance is good, right?

Not so fast. We understood when it was to target hostile enemies. But now American citizens, TEA, gun owners, returning vets are the “threat”. The FBI says it is no longer the kidnapping and bank robbery service, it is a national security agency. Except of course they deliberately refuse to treat islam with suspicion. When the surveillance beast turned its attention upon us, it needed to be brought to heel HARD.
I hope he was a nice warm bowl of soup today and a beautiful Russian woman to massage his shoulders.

“that the government spies on us (which we’ve all known for years),”

I was told that was a “conspiracy theory”, and it turns out it was true.....

I hope you do believe in the following the Supreme Law of the land The U.S. Constitution? No individual, group, body, etc.. is above the law. That is the road to tyranny.

It's funny you said that because he actually addresses that question.

Who did he out??? Please site your source. Thanks.

Snowden is a traitor. Pure and simple. To say there is no way to bring this information to light is a lie. Would it be simple or easy? No.

The release of classified information to China and Russia has no bearing on anything? You can debate all you want about Constitutional rights, but that doesn’t change the definition of treason.

As for what he has done and specific sources, many of us still value our oaths to keep our nation’s secrets.

You are confusing the treasonous bastards in the government with a guy who told us what the treasonous bastards were doing!
You should channel your anger in the proper direction!

A government that big enough to give you everything is also big enough to take everything away!

Really?

How would you deal with the various violations of the Bill of the Rights?

Honestly, I think you’re being generous with that 5%.

Whether we like it or not, be need assets in other nations. These people risk life and limb for us.

We may not always agree with what they are up to, but the idea they should be executed on station for what little we know about their situation, or just randomly like Snowden has facilitated?

This is a very vile man. He should be brought home, tried, and executed.

This man should not be considered a hero by anyone but our enemies.

“many of us still value our oaths to keep our nation’s secrets.”

Oaths to what??? The Globalist??? It’s certainly NOT the Supreme law of the land The U.S. Constitution. Oh and like I though you have no proof or sources. What did China and Russia learn that they did not know???

You just parrot the propaganda that elected and non elected government employees are above the law and above The U.S. Constitution.

It’s complete malarkey and horse$hit! It’s that B.S. ATTITUDE why we are in so much trouble.

We are either a country of laws or we are not!

Let me ask you this. What clandestine operations would we have if every individual working for them decided to be a Snowden?

And that’s the only question that needs to be asked if we indeed need these agencies.

This guy didn’t got to a Senator, a Congressman, the President, a Judge, a police agency of any sort.

He spilled it to our enemies.

This guy either did it with evil intent, or he is one of the most naive individuals ever to exist.

It’s attitude like yours and why our country is going to $hit.

You think it’s okay for the government to pick and choose which laws they want to follow. It’s a receipt for disaster.

Do you really think our country is on the right track? Do you want to be known in history as the generation that allowed Tyranny????

For heaven’s sake, grow up!

There are ways to reveal things that have a chance of bringing about change that don’t involve revealing incredibly damaging information to our enemies.

You can’t just throw all care to the wind and do an incredible amount of damage to our nation, and then demand sainthood for it.

You keep saying there was damage because Snowden exposed the NSA.

However, you have failed to list the proof. Please show me the proof???

I would almost agree with you, but unfortunately, he is a traitor. This is the closest analogy that I could envision.

Imagine a scenario where a faction in the US government was going to release or had released a biological weapon on U.S citizens.

Would you:

A. Try to find a legitimate means to address the threat while ensuring that rogue agents are held accountable.

B. Go to the press with intimate details and let the chips fall.

C. Release all research on the biological agent to the enemies of your country.

If you picked C, congratulations. You are Edward Snowden. If you want to idolize traitors, go ahead. Just do so honestly.

If I still have to prove things to you, it’s clear you didn’t bother to pay attention the what all this guy released.

Ohhhh LOL!

And what representative wouldn’t vote to renew FISA, Patriot Act and PA II?

Hell, they aren’t willing to stand up to an out of control Fed.
