I actually have quite a darker solution than you, but I will keep it to myself.
The point is, the electorate - with zero’s help, it seems!, go figure - has turned away from the RATS, hopefully because they realize all the gay marriage in the world doesn’t help if you’re dead or living under a bridge or dumpster-diving.
You can look at our ‘Republican’ leadership and see in their faces who are the Zombies. You can also look in the faces of ours that are going to be-head them soon.
I’ve been a worrier all my life - ask anybody who knows me - but this is the tightest clinch we’ve been in.... and the Left bringing out the long knives tells me we’re going to win, flak/target analogy.
I truly hope you are right and I am wrong. But I think we can all agree that Barry is indeed gonna get him some ‘change’.

I heartily endorse your sentiments but also am pessimistic about the post-election and post-Obama era(s).
Leftists have succeeded in producing logic-deficient, historically-and-scientifically ignorant snarky ideological punks. In order to change their minds and hearts they must somehow acquire the knowledge that ‘educators’ have withheld from them for all their years in school and then realize that they’ve been had. As they said in ‘Rounders’: if you can’t tell who the sucker at the table is, it means you’re the sucker.
The Obama generation may have to go through the stages of grief but perhaps if/when they see their peers moving out of parental homes, getting jobs, and living productive lives they will realize what a lie leftism truly is.
