Ships and bases are workplaces.
Your employer has clear Constitutional rights to limit certain activities within the workplace.
If you dislike your employer’s rules, you are completely free to look for a new job or start your own business.
Or, if you disagree with the Constitution and the Supreme Court, you are completely free to file a new lawsuit, or seek a Constitutional Amendment, or run for president and nominate your own Supreme Court judges.
That’s not a liberal solution.
That’s a Libertarian solution.
People who pretend their desire to dictate how other people live and behave is "libertarian" are lying jerks.
Forgive me if I overlooked the obvious--which branch of the military did you serve?
Thats not a liberal solution.
Thats a Libertarian solution.
You sound positively “Progressive.”
“Thats a Libertarian solution.”
Nice the way you changed that opinion to a “workplace and ownership” argument. You are nothing more than a lib that believes in forcing your ideal on everyone else. Liberaltarins are nothing more than tyranny light
Men willing to put themselves in harms way, to be killed, somehow don’t deserve to smoke tobacco. As idiotic as any liberal conclusion I’ve ever heard.
