It is NOT a standard statement of mourning in French. The French mourn the way all us other Westerners mourn.

NO DOUBT it's the work of some VERY bored, teenage, male mind...and it means NOTHING of import to the rest of the human race.

“Bonsoir et Bon Nuit.”

But it’s a reference to a song which is a prayer:

Good evening, and good night, watched over by roses covered with cloves, slips under the quilt! Tomorrow morning, if God wills, you will wake up again. Good night, good night, guarded by angels, that show you in a dream the tree of little Jesus: sleep now, blessed and gently look into the dreams of Paradise.

I would just assume it to be someones prayer, (since you did get a little confirmation) and leave it at that.

bn n8 a ts.

“bn” may be “bon nuit” (good night), “a ts” may be “to you”.

Perhaps you could tweet the entire message and ask for the

English translation.

Don’t know about the rest but bn could mean bien in French, which means well, or good as opposed to evil.

Yes. I think I've figured it out:

“Bsr et bn n8”

There is something (Bsr) in space (at n8 on a chart).

It looks like txt language to me.. Bse=Be Sure et= eat or thirst.. N8=innate?

Not sure what that means..

Maybe someone wants you to make sure and eat? For what its worth, eat well, and be merry... It is within you to celebrate a life even after their death.

I'm sorry for your loss..

Haven’t been around anyone under 30 in a while! Have you.

I knew it was texting, but I am not a bilingual texter, and my kids are not either.

You gotta get out more.
