“At some point, a reasonable person has to say no to evil regardless of the “sides.” When we have republican candidates and office-holders espousing “progressive” ideas and voting for liberal initiatives time and time again, then there is no value in continuing the pretense.”

I fully expect the GOP to take the senate and continue on with business as usual.
It’s important though that the GOP win both the house and the senate so they can be blamed in 2016 for the poor state of the union.

The dems already have as much as they can get for the moment. In order to get the rest the GOP needs to be in charge for a couple of years.

Of course the Gop and the Dems want the same things.
Obamacare isn’t going anywhere, gay marriage is going to be the law of the land, and immigration reform is the next biggie.
It’s all about the status quo.
