The only thing that can really kill the ebola virus is bleach.

Huh? Bleach is not even the highest activity decontaminant against this family of viruses. What about glutaraldehyde, ortho-phthalaldehyde, hydrogen peroxide, formaldehyde, chlorine dioxide, peracetic acid, 70+% EtoH, iodophores (povidone, betadine), and phenolic compounds?

I will grant you that bleach is the most likely thing that a typical family will have around the house, but hospitals and labs have access to many of the compounds in my list, and they are quite effective.

I have been using hydrogen peroxide as an antiseptic my entire long life.

Convenient and cheap.
