“Bleach has antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal properties that help treat jock itch.
Mix one-fourth cup of bleach in a bathtub full of water.
Soak in it for about 15 minutes daily or every other day, depending upon the severity of the condition.”
When I played ball many years ago, a coach told me about this as a remedy. Two capfuls of bleach per 16 oz of water. Put a bit on a clean washcloth and clean affected area. Takes about a week for your rash to go away.
> I have been using hydrogen peroxide as an antiseptic my entire long life.
> Convenient and cheap.
Hydrogen Peroxide presents a two-fold attack against infection. Not only does it fill the surface germs, it is one of the body’s signaling chemicals. Whenever you get cut or scratched, your body manufactures a trace amount of hydrogen peroxide at the injury site. The white blood cells in your body detect it and seek out the site of the injury. By swabbing a cut with hydrogen you are boosting the signal and making it easier for the white blood cells to locate the injury and get there to fight any infection.
