“Bleach has antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal properties that help treat jock itch.

Mix one-fourth cup of bleach in a bathtub full of water.
Soak in it for about 15 minutes daily or every other day, depending upon the severity of the condition.”

When I played ball many years ago, a coach told me about this as a remedy. Two capfuls of bleach per 16 oz of water. Put a bit on a clean washcloth and clean affected area. Takes about a week for your rash to go away.

> I have been using hydrogen peroxide as an antiseptic my entire long life.
> Convenient and cheap.

Hydrogen Peroxide presents a two-fold attack against infection. Not only does it fill the surface germs, it is one of the body’s signaling chemicals. Whenever you get cut or scratched, your body manufactures a trace amount of hydrogen peroxide at the injury site. The white blood cells in your body detect it and seek out the site of the injury. By swabbing a cut with hydrogen you are boosting the signal and making it easier for the white blood cells to locate the injury and get there to fight any infection.

Ok, you have convinced me.

I have bleached my RV tanks like that.

I had visions of people using shower cleaner on their gentlementalias.

One time I had a little bit of an outbreak and showered with cinnamon soap. Yep, that was bad.

How do you mix your pit spray?
Do you just take a paint brush with 100% Clorox and rinse off. Bet that would work real good.
I’m thinking you use a dilution.

Well, they HAD a fever initially. But by the time they presented for care the virus had destroyed the bodies ability to mount a responce and they no longer had a fever. At that point they had lots of other evidence of disease.
