The White House is seriously considering waiting until after Election Day to announce a replacement for Attorney General Eric Holder in order to avoid creating a new political problem for vulnerable Senate Democrats.
But that may make an already difficult job of getting someone confirmed by the end of the year more challenging, creating a tense, time-compressed showdown with Republicans during the lame duck or waiting until the Democratic majority in the Senate has thinned, if not been lost.
White House aides say they have been busy with other pressing matters, including the ISIL operation, the Ebola crisis and even the midterm campaign schedule. No decision has been made on who the nominee to head the Justice Department will be or when he or she will be announced, aides insist.

Good move for the Dems. They will obviously replace him with another even more hard core Leftist and alienate another high percentage of the citizenry. Tisk, tisk, tisk, better NOT do that before the election.
The solution is easy: Replace the criminal holder with someone as equally qualified and respected...the Simpson’s character, Sideshow Bob.
Do they really not have a bunch of guys in the pipe? Every White House I’ve ever read about has at least 6 possible nominees for every major position at all times (usually with a lot of overlap) just in case. And they know it’s more important late because a lot of folks just can’t handle 8 years of the burn, you get a lot of 5th 6th and 7th year resignations. I know the Obama White House is incompetent, but this is in the “forgot my pants” level.

Obama is having trouble finding someone as corrupt as Holder. Who wants to be Hitler’s henchman and executioner when the fuehrer’s gig is up?
The replacement will be announced shortly after Election Day, and then he/she will be confirmed by the lame duck session of the Senate, while the Senate still has 55 Democrats.
Remember, Harry Reid eliminated filibusters on presidential nominees. So the 55 votes will still be there during the lame duck session to confirm any liberal radical Obama wants to nominate.
