The PCR test is the most accurate, however to avoid a false negative the person needs to by symptomatic for at least 3 days. Therefore, to be sure someone is absolutely negative they would have to be kept in the Hospital 3-5 days. Releasing patients before that amount of time has elapsed is problematic. This was part of the problem in Spain.

No it wasn't. The woman(Romero) was begging for the test but they wouldn't give it to her.

Her's was a problem dealing with the lack of symptoms.
