I’ve stuck my fingers in small plastic blades before. No problem.

I have accidentally allowed my fingers to come in contact with the idling prop of an RC airplane. It was very difficult to get the bleeding to stop. Those propellers are very efficient at shredding flesh.

I did that just tonight — heli tail rotor. Stopped the bleeding with 4% lidocaine (helps with the pain, too, obviously).

There are lots of videos like this.

"These drones need to be designed to be harmless to wildlife or stay out of the sky."

Like guns and pellet rifles and bows and arrows and knives. Make then safe or ban them all!

You’re assuming they are sizeable. Many of these are not at all.

That gets into some egregious ballistics problems, and while it would work for low elevation light drones, likely helicopter type, higher elevation police or military type fixed wing drones would be a lot harder to take down that way.

A big part of anti-drone technology is flexibility. For higher elevation anti-drones using a balloon platform to get it to altitude so it can fly down at the larger drone, for example. Likewise, the technique it uses can be jamming, physical attack, or even kamikaze attack.

AAA from the ground is a very valid attack, as long as you are covered from sniper attack yourself.

A big advantage of using a raptor attack is that it *could* be a natural attack, and it might even be illegal for the police to shoot at the raptor.

This all is a new entrepreneurial enterprise, so creativity is the name of the game.
