Yeah, yeah, yeah, we all know that but it is a little too late to stop that BS until we get a Republican Senate and maybe not even then.
I don’t care if I am more likely to die of a hang nail than Ebola we don’t need it in the United States. It will devastate our health care and dying of a hang nail is less excruciating and gross than dying from Ebola and there is no need for anyone in America to be exposed...but it is too late now.

the CDC director and Obama have decided that the ability to travel here from ebola infested African countries is far more important than Americans lives. And except for 23 of them, the cowardly republicans are too chickensh*t to say anything about this insanity.
Travel from the US should not be banned.

Tom Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Appearing on MSNBC, Frieden was asked about potentially prohibiting air travel between the U.S. and West Africa, where the Ebola outbreak is most widespread. He said that such a restriction would likely be ineffective and would make it harder for health officials to root out the virus.
“The only way we’re going to get to zero risk is by stopping the outbreak at the source” in West Africa, Frieden said.

I can't understand why they don't. Its the right thing to do AND the American public would support them. Its a chance to show Obama and democrats care more about Africans coming to America than they do about American lives. But then it seems that republicans have become such cowards that they will no longer do anything at all.

I think my Congressman is among the co-signers of this letter. I wrote him last week, and he said he was working on building a coalition of Representatives to press this issue.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
