Friends: Aid worker captured in Syria knew risks

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - An American aid worker threatened with beheading in Syria had researched the region and knew the dangers.

An in case you haven’t heard a Kurdish city in Syria near the Turkish border is about to fall too, and the Turks won’t even let their own Kurds cross the border to help out. Here is information on this whole bloody mess, with some useful comments below.

Yes. I have heard that his head will be sawed off next. Guess he did not know the face of the enemy. In his twenty plus years of life, he did not feel 9/11. In his gut he did not know the face of the enemy.
