To: Third Person

I don’t care what form of hazing, at the end of the day, it is bullying by the powerful on the powerless, and worse, it feeds into becoming a “tradition” that makes the people who were bullied/hazed become the bulliers. I can’t imagine the mental anguish/guilt those people would have later in life when they figure out the nature of what they did when they were in school.

Every time I read about a Columbine-type incident I find myself wondering if there was some depravity like this in the past that played a role in the perpetrator’s decision to light up a school building with gunfire.
