I just came back from the other CareNow facility in Frisco (Don’t ask). While I was sitting there they were informed that the location where the possible Ebola case was, was closed down for the night, and will be closed for at least 24 hours while they decontaminate.

This is curious, since they did open up today a few hours after the patient left. Either they didn’t follow the right protocol and opened up again too soon, or there was some news about the condition or test results of the patient.

I'll wait for independent confirmation of the doc-in-a-box being shut back down for decontamination, but that does honestly sound like prayers for the deputy and his family are in order. He has to be out of his mind with grief and anger, if he unwittingly exposed his family due to bureaucratic bungling and bad info.

Oh my goodness. That is just way too close to you! I’d have my family in lock down mode if I’d gotten that close. I suppose many many miles away may not scare you but just reading this made me nervous!! Hope you’re okay!
