The Suspected Ebola Case is being taken from a Frisco “Doc in a box” to Texas Health Presby in Dallas.
The Suspected Ebola Case is on the CDC contact list for Thomas Eric Duncan.
The contact _is not_ family.
CDC has a news conference at 3pm CST.
Local Dallas government is sh*tting razor blades at the moment over this development. Dallas County Judge Jenkins went into the apartment that Thomas Eric Duncan was staying in in his street cloths and no PPE before it was decontaminated.
Then Judge Jenkins drove in his car to a public relations event with the elected and appointed heads of Dallas municiple and country government.
Dallas local government will be effectively decapitated for three weeks or more, along with a fair portion of Dallas media, if Jenkins or one of his contacts comes down with symptoms.
It gets worse.
Judge Jenkins was an early African-American supporter of President Obama’s candidacy in 2007-2008 in the Dallas Democratic Party and is running for re-election this November.
Jenkins has been out campaigning at numerous political events and fund raisers since since Ebola came to Dallas.
