It shouldnt be surprising that Republicans are just as angry as Michelle Obama is reported to have been about the Secret Services failure to keep an intruder out of the White House, and its four-day failure to realize that a snipers gunshots hit the first familys residence.
Not everybody evidently feels this way when a Republican is in the White House. The New York Times movie critics verdict on the 2006 movie: The Death of a President is, in the end, neither terribly outrageous nor especially heroic; its a thought experiment that traffics in received ideas. ...
If Baker thinks many of his liberal readers are not disturbed by threats of violence or even murder directed at political opponents, that is unfortunate even more unfortunate if he is correct.
Consider the protests in Wisconsin against the law restricting the bargaining perquisites of public employee unions passed by the Republican legislature and signed by Gov. Scott Walker. I have not seen any evidence that Walkers opponents expressed regret for the many death threats he and his family received during that wild time. One hopes that some liberals did speak out against them, and that most or all regretted them in the privacy of their thoughts.

If we had a real president I’d be concerned about his security. Until then.....
Exactly.. if I were SS I’d be dropping to the ground if I heard a gunshot and I’d call TSA for backup.
Doesn’t bother me a bit..
If the truth were told, Democrats are the ones who would benefit if something happened to Obama. They could make him a martyr and blame conservatives for all their “hate”.
BTW, the Secret Service has a lot of problems, and most comes from the leadership. Every agent would take a bullet for his or her protectee. A lot of the best ones are fed up and want out, though.
I don’t want to see anything happen to dear leader. For the rest of our lives we’d be seeing Barack Obama Elementary School, Barack Obama Memorial Hospital or giant statues of “the One” in the middle of town square. I just want him to go away soon. The sooner, the better, but safely.
