Anyone surprised? Sweden is the country that assumed the morally absurd position of neutralism while its neighbors suffered and fought a death struggle against the fascists. It traded with Germany until the gold the Germans pillaged ran out. Sweden long ago entered a post Christian neo pagan era of decadence and moral decline. Its repulsive behavior is consistent with its true character.

And no, their position wasn’t absurd. It kept them from getting entangled in others’ wars.
Indeed, Sweden was a poor country until after 1940, and got rich trading with the Nazis. The only other European country to profit like that was Switzerland.
