In July, The Boston Globe reported that there is still “no safety oversight of the vendors who sell” EMR and EHR systems. One malpractice insurance group revealed that it found 147 cases “in which electronic health records contributed to ‘adverse events’ that affected patients” — 46 resulted in death.

That's significant.

Well I heard from a reputable guest on a talk radio show recently declare the manufacturers who have the cure/vaccine/remedy for ebola will not release it untill the market is “ripe”. More deaths = more money for the pharmaceutical companies and when the the infected population gets to an epidemiological high then it’s a “go”.

how effin’ sick is that?
