I’ve read several articles following the 2012 election that indicated the number of voters was actually higher, historically, in States that had voter ID laws. That seems to prove that such a law does not suppress the people from voting.

They also won't be able to collect the lists of who hasn't voted and send people in at the last minute to impersonate them.
Because of voter ID, the total number of votes will be way down from prior elections. The libs know this and they're gonna scream and cry and thrwo tantrums for the next few years.
