Why? You are going to pay it regardless. Better to be transparent about it. Truth in advertising.
Nope, you see, I still have options.
1. Find restaurants that do not tack on the surcharge. 3. Cook my own meals/grow my own food.
I absolutely do not need to help them implement Socialism.

So please educate me? It appears that’s the only option you have and you’ll need to harvest your own seeds and not pay for electricity or water.

Clearly you’ve never team a business if you think costs are the same for 1 person workin 20 hours compared to 4 people working 5 hours.

What part of this do you not understand.
There are still restaurants that will adjust the hours of their employees thereby avoiding the costs associated with Obamacare.
And no, just because you hire more employees who end up working the same amount of hours, does not mean that the costs involved will match the costs involved with paying for their healthcare.
If it does, as an employer, you’re doing something wrong.

Do you like Socialism?
Or, are you just willing to lay down and accept the situation?

The solution to this is pretty straightforward. Many restaurants put a line item ok their menus saying that they tack on a surcharge (18% usually) for larger parties (6 or more).
Restaurants should do this for their healthcare costs. State it on the menu, have it appear as a line item on the bill. Upfront and transparent.
To: bestintxas
I would like to see businesses have it posted on the door or menu that there is % surcharge to pay for health care.
Then before utilizing services one could decide if paying the extra % was worth the service being provided.
To: SoConPubbie
The ObolaCare surcharge is voluntary? Really? If so I agree with you. If not, then I applaud the establishment for informing me, who the hell is to blame for the increase in costs.

Business doesn't owe anyone reason's as to why price goes up......
Although I tell people all the time..when overhead goes up...costs are passed on to the consumer.
Period.
