A boxer's hands are in some jurisdictions considered deadly weapons for a reason. The use of deadly force is regulated pretty strictly by the law. Lucky for the boxer that the bad guy had already created a deadly force confrontation by displaying a firearm.
From a legal perspective, that should allow the boxer to plead self defense.
People, especially those that carry concealed firearms should really learn about the use of deadly force laws in their particular jurisdiction as you can get yourself in real legal trouble to escalate a confrontation into a deadly force confrontation by pulling a firearm.
.....and well done Jr golden gloves guy!
