Quite honestly, unless he upped the chuck in the car, anything there is dead by now anyway. Especially if the car's been sitting in the sun, as temps can easily reach 130s inside, and the exterior surface should have seen anything die off in hours.
The NBC reporter thinks he caught it from cleaning up chuck from a car. He didn’t say how fresh it was. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near the car next week, next month or next year.
