There are 38 states in support now.

You think there are 38 states that would ratify a Marriage Amendment? Now? Maybe 10 years ago, but not a chance today.

No, they have been counted recently. If DC gets statehood, then it’s a no-go.

Right now states are the only way to go. Congress and the Courts are closed to it.

It would be right in that ballpark. Hell, NC just voted in the constitutional amendment in 2012. That was the event that triggered the whole final push by the left. There are easily 30.
