I'm astounded how many Freepers quickly dismiss her and believe the people that tell they did not build their business.... If you you like your doctor, then you can keep him....... GLOBAL WARMING/CLIMATE CHANGE is real.... They believe the same certified on the record liars that said IRS never targeted Patriots, the Tea Party, Anti-Abortions, Pro 2nd Amendment Gun Supports, etc.... The NSA is not spying. They believe what the Administration said Benghazi happened because of some video that no one has seen. Oh and the Fast and the Furious was not about illegally shipping guns to drug gangs and criminals in Mexico in order to blame the second Amendment.
Whenever I now hear “conspiracy theory”. I put it in the same category as “political correctness”...”denier”....”that's acist”...”hater”...”homophob”.
All the above are words used to SILENT and ATTACK the messenger. Given the track record I don't understand why many Freepers still believe the certified liars? Why the disconnect? How come they can't put 2 and 2 together???

I don’t know enough about Naomi Wolf to comment on her writings but the term “conspiracy theory” is like “decimate”, very few people have ever thought about what it really means, it has become just a “hot button” term. Briefly, a conspiracy theory is just the belief that some action must have been agreed upon by TWO OR MORE people. There is an old song titled “Winter Wonderland” containing the line, “later on we’ll CONSPIRE, as we dream by the fire, to face unafraid the plans that we made, walking in a winter wonderland.” It is about a man and a woman CONSPIRING to be married. The idea that someone has to be a nutcase to believe in a conspiracy theory is just something invented to keep people from thinking clearly.
Some wise person and I’m sorry I can’t remember the name once said that the history of the world is the history of conspiracy, anyone who knows history knows the truth of this but those who scorn “conspiracy theories” usually know almost nothing of history.
