When asked on Sunday if the United States should suspend flights to and from affected countries or impose a visa ban on travelers from those countries, Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said "absolutely not." "When you start closing off countries like that, there is a real danger of making things worse," Fauci said on "Fox News Sunday." "You can cause unrest in the country," he said. "It’s conceivable that governments could fall if you just isolate them completely."

Great. Now his family of illegals will sue, rake the taxpayers over the coals and never leave.

Ain't America great?

I contacted United and asked if they were going to stop flights to/from these Ebola affected African countries.

The agent was extremely rude and said “let me see what our restrictions are, at this time”. He proceeded to shuffle through papers and mumbled something about “no, only restrictions, or warnings, we currently have are in Cabo (Mexico) and, blah...blah”.

I asked, again, if there was a policy regarding Ebola, specifically...and why they weren’t stopping these flights. He said that “the government won’t allow them to stop these flights” and that their “policy” was to refer anyone with additional questions to the CDC.

I cancelled our upcoming United flights.

Yeah, well, just wait until your neighbor starts bleeding from her eye sockets and the local hospital starts turning patients away.

I hope others will follow your lead and cancel their plans to fly someplace.

Until the airlines get hit in the pocketbook, they will keep flying into and from West Africa.

You have started the right track. If people here stop flying United and the pilots/flight attendants refuse to board people from the hot zones, we will get real change.

Otherwise Obama business as usual.

The other interesting piece in that article is the CDC claiming they are out of the ZMapp medicine they successfully used on the two in Atlanta last month.

Apparently that medicine is grown via some type of mutated tobacco plant and takes weeks (months) to grow. So even if that works, we evidently are screwed since there have been no announcements of trying to mass produce it.

in about two weeks UAL will be collectively hyperventilating. Delta will be close behind.

Around Thanksgiving they’ll be scrambling and by Christmas they’ll be scraping and they won’t survive.

Next year they’ll be a memory.

Greed in a case like this drives insanity , illogical reasoning and deception.

And that does not go well with customers of airlines.

And it will be because they should’ve stopped flights a month ago.

It’s too late.

Their brand is all over this Dallas deal. Wait til the secondaries start reporting in, then the tertiaries.

United is stupid on this.

Good thing the federal government has attacked tobacco for the last few decades.

No confirmation on his death, but been on a ventilator for 2 days.

CDC has ordered that he be kept alive till after the election.(a truer statement than anything from that group lately)

Why is Israel reporting that he died about 12 hours ago?

First US Ebola Patient Dies

Given US media and the obama regime, well, I really don't believe anything they say.

We were out of the serums on the first two patients. There were only 3 to begin with.

Dunno. Do a search. That’s the only source saying he’s dead. Don’t know why or how Israel would have known without a hundred other sources knowing, too.

How does closing a country a nondiscript country to the western world for a 30 or 60 day quarantine cause a government collapse? Air cargo won’t be affected, neither will telephones or internet and skype has been invented for face to face business interactions. Medical personnel can piggyback on military supply flights, since presumably, they will all have received vaccines.

Hate to say this, but perhaps if the guy does not survive, ebola victims in West Africa may realize that the medical services in America are not much better than they are at home.

The family is already trying to pull the race card.
Flipping channels today heard them saying something about
‘He’s not getting the same treatment as the others got’, ‘we want him to have the same as other ‘Americans’.
wha??

He might be dead, but since he is in the US, he will still be voting Democrat on Nov. 4th.
