You can’t brandish weapons when cops have a warrant to search your house.

Are you suggesting the judge will face severe criminal charges here? Will the cops? The commando team? Will the Governor, the DA?
The cops were wrong! The article stated that they did not have a no-knock clause in the warrant. Yet they did not identify themselves, bursting through the back door and firing at least 16 rounds at the homeowner. Definitely breaking the rules. Those cops should go to jail.

pls point out in the article where he KNEW THEY WERE COPS!!! let alone that they were serving a warrant... he reported his vehicle stolen then intruders enter his yard, a normal person would think the thieves had returned NOT cops there to arrest him for doing NOTHING wrong

It's hard to say from the article, but it sounds like they discovered the cops on their property.

A 44 hour search just to find nothing tells me all I need to know about the cops motivation in this case.
BS..! Don't you think maybe they should (the cops) in most cases, at least, SHOW you the warrant before shooting you, your wife, dog and kids..!
From what I read the cops made "ZERO" attempt to investigate Mr. Hooks to determine who he was...what he did for a living...talk to his neighbor...or much of anything else before whacking the guy..!
Maybe they thought he was their business competitor...
