He was seriously toxic when he left Liberia. Thought they would cure him here. No other reason for him to leave there. He hadn’t been here in years and years.
There’s no “fancy hoodoo medicine” that can be called a cure. The very best modern medicine can do is to try to buy time for the victim’s immune system to kill it on its own, and quickly, which itself is a long shot at best.
I’ve read and posted that a victim has 7-10 days from the onset of symptoms until he’s dead. If he went to the hospital on September 25, today is day 8 from that. But nine is indeed probably a better number as it’s likely that he didn’t feel fine the day before, then wake up the next day feeling so bad that he decided to go the hospital right away.
