The most important election of our lifetime was the 2008 Republican Primary. When that was co-opted by the press and liberal Republicans, it was game over.

Laz, how could that particular primary have turned out well?

As I recall, our choices were between athlete's foot, jock itch, diarrhea and distress in the lower tract.

Granted, I can see how it could've turned out "better" than McCain...but I don't recall anybody that would've made it "good".

Answer: There was no way in hell it could have, thanks to the GOP-E and their knee-pad wearing supporters here on FR!

We are in great danger of evolving from the Ballot Box to the Bullet Box if the Liberals steal the election again.

Making the feckless Ditch McConnell Senate Majority Leader isn’t a cause for celebration, but it does buy us some time in the hopes that come 2016 a true champion for liberty can be elected to the highest office in the land.

I pretty much enjoyed this article but was somewhat surprised by the author's concluding statement above. It SOUNDS true yet, basically, he's saying to swallow the S-sandwich next month and vote R anyway.

I found this posting to be persuasive but not enough for me to vote for Lindsey Graham next month.

That's about all I have to say about that.

The most important election of our lifetime was the 2008 Republican Primary.

Several occasions over the years come to mind but 2008 was a definite turning point.

If McCain had not been the pick of the crowd in control now, Palin would not have been picked VP candidate pre-maturely, would still be Governor Palin, and would still have built up a National following. Perhaps enough to be a contender in 2012, 2016, or 2020.

Now, we've lost an excellent possibility of her leading a renewed R-ticket because of McCain's handlers--some of them Romney's evil backstabbers.
