I’m not insinuating that. I said that GOP promises aren’t much better than Dem promises.

At least Cochran would caucus with the GOP, for what its worth, but McDaniel would have been better, and should have one absent corrupt machinations by the GOPe and the Dems.

My take, not being from Mississippi, is that Cochran is an idiot, but at least he’ll caucus with the GOP.

Amazing how low our standards for Senators has become.

I don't think either is a fantastic choice, but conservatives who are contemplating voting for Cochran have lost the plot.

Not a chance in hell could I vote for Cochran. My wife feels the same way. As a matter of fact there are a lot of us Mississippi Freepers on this bandwagon. He crossed the Rubicon with his smears of us. FUTC!

So you’re not denying my contention re: Childers, then, right?
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Not at all. Pubbies or Dems..... as far as moral fiber, most politicians have the same DNA. There aren’t a lot of Ronnie Reagans around these days. I’ve been on the inside of GOP political campaigns a few times in my life. Talk about nasty, cut-throat, hardball tactics...... You would not believe. Well, you would but most people would be shocked at how nasty politicians and their staffs are.

Childers was in the 2006 and 2008 Democrat congressional wave where some Democrats opposed amnesty.

His record is as good as any Republican from that time.

Also they are bashing the Cronyism of Team Barbour.

Now Barrow(GA), McIntyre(NC) retiring and Rahall(WV) are left.
