Whatta ‘bout personal chicks?
:-)
For 20k, you can charter a G4 NY-LA (one way, but still).
Think about how far the UAE is from either sources or destinations...
Not a lot of 1 hour SF to LA style hops from Dubai...
I was on an Emirates flight from Boston to Dubai earlier his year...I booked coach (as I always do).The flight was,I was told, full in coach so they bumped me up to Business Class. The seats in Business Class go completely flat so I bedded down for the 14 hour flight. It was nice to be sure but I can’t see paying five times...ten times...twenty time what you’d pay for a coach seat for anything else.Even with unlimited caviar and booze.
I once got talking to a stewardess on an Emirates flight who was from Liverpool. She was cute (but far too young) and she sounded just like a female John Lennon.
Antarctica's on my bucket list.I've wanted to go there ever since I had,35 years ago,a 6 hour conversation with a marine biologist who had just spent the winter there. One of the most fascinating chats I've ever had.
Dubai to Damascus...Dubai to Tehran...kinda like Boston to JFK.
$20,000 each way.
3 room suite
Totally worth it.
Still need to get rich enough to fund a small research staff.... to study happiness.
I was going to Doral this week with friends but, I absolutely cannot deal with Florida after party season.
To friggin hot and humid fer me.
All I care about is if Ebola was ever a passenger.
I know...we usually are in Colombia about 6 months of the yr. This year we are hanging around till after Christmas.
I was thinking “Hot chicks but, I’d really like to beat the Ken dolls for looking so good.”
Then they threw in some freaks at the end and the world was instantly balanced.
This is a long haul bird. It’s what it was made for.
They will use smaller planes for those runs.
By the by... might want to brush up on your geography and flight routes.
Tehran is a 2 hour flight. More like Chicago to N.Y. with the added joy of a crossing over the Arabian gulf.
Damascus direct to Dubai is almost impossible to find, partly due to the current conflict.
The big money traffic for Dubai is construction, oil, investments, and tourism. The sources and destinations that drove them ordering these things aren’t local.
Think London, think Paris, think NY.
6+ hour flights, many longer.
Flight time from USA is 15 to 18 hours.
That’s a whole day when you include getting to airport 2-3 hours early for international flights.
Taking a shower, shaving and coming off the plane with freshly pressed attire, you’ll be refreshed, snappy and ready for business.
The shower is a real time saver, as you won’t have to go to a hotel before doing anything.
Shower is totally worth it.
I fly on friends private jet and on a few flights there was a full shower....which I absolutely “had to use”...
Then I grab a bag, wipe out the bar and grab decks of playing cards....
Sometimes I take the little tins of macadamia nuts or mixed nuts from “Dean and Delluca”....
The flight times are far longer if you factor in why Dubai (Emirates) and Abu Dhabi (Etihad) into hub-and-spoke players: connecting the Indian sub-continent, South-east Asia/Far East with Europe and North America.
The local contribution is very marginal compared to
So, does this not mean that Islam is a homogeneous religion of hateful radical wackos intent on world conquest?
Actually, this is what they really hate and want to destroy to return purity to the souls of believers.
But, it is written proof contrary to FR dogma
Not bad, but I got FREE pretzels on my flight to Seattle last weekend. Top that!
For that kind of money you would think that there would be a harem of lovelies making your drinks for you...
