Read the posts from Duncan’s friend who is posting to him on Duncan’s facebook page. The posts are included in the article.

The friend sounds like a Christian.

What has the CDC told you?

That’s right, nothing.

If this story is accurate and true, would your opinion change?

Put yourself, if you can, into the shoes of someone panicked at the prospect of a gory death from ebola. There’s a country touting ability to successfully treat it, you have family there. Would you sell everything you had, lie, beg, borrow or steal to get on a flight to that country in order to live? I’m not saying it’s right because it’s not. This man is going to end up killing many other people, imho, and deserves punishment provided he survives. But, clear thinking in the face of such a thing is not a safe reaction to assume. And, not everyone is moral and concerned about their fellow man. Human beings are largely self-centered. There doesn’t have to be some sort of plot.

At this point, I wonder if any governors are contemplating setting up quarantine centers in their state to attempt to keep this virus from spreading into their state...

Most Liberians are Christian, and this man’s family is certainly Christian, so I assume he is too.

The friend does appear to be a Christian and I would hope Mr. Duncan is also Christian. Having seen first hand what ebola does it doesn’t appear to me, he would knowlingly bring this disease to unsuspecting innocent people including his own family, and consider it to be a Christian act. He could be ignorant but living around it and seeing what’s happening, I believe he has to know.

Of course it would. If *evidence* is presented that he deliberately came here sick (and exposed his own family, for the love of Pete) then, yes. I’d classify him as something. (Stupid, selfish, terrorist... whatever. He would be wrong as hell)

But I don’t join lynch mobs based on the rants of an unnamed source from a foreign newspaper.

Fair enough. No one knows what the truth is because our govt
won’t tell us anything.

My guess? When he suspected he was positive for Obola (Obama’s Ebola) he knew that staying in Liberia was a death sentence so he did whatever he could to get to America where they would most likely save his life. He cares not for anyone other than himself.

If that was his plan, why didn't he push back on the 26th, when Dr. Feelgood sent him home with an antibiotic prescription, having failed to take the Liberia hint?

Sounds like a white guy’s name. If so, what was he doing in Liberia?

Liberia was established by rich northeastern liberals as a colony for former African American slaves and their free black descendants.

Hence the “English” names.

Sierra Leone was also a colony for resettlement of Black Loyalists, former slaves, and poor blacks from England, for the same purpose.

Hope. Simple as that. The American doctors diagnosed him with a simple infection and not wanting to face the truth he went home with antibiotics. That is until he got much worse.

It would be interesting to know when he made his travel plans. His exposure was on the 15th.

He departed on the 19th. How long does it take to get a US visa? A quick check of Kayak indicates you can do Monrovia to Brussels on 5 October for $1096 and Brussels to Dallas for another $1215 ...

Or did he have his visa lined up and his ticket bought long ago?

He apparently quit his job as a driver for a local FedEx contractor on 4 September.

the question begs - are the kids and other members of this house in quarantine? -

Are the hospital workers in the hospitals emergency he went to before one finally tested him for E - are THEY being quarantined?

Have the passengers on the planes he flew on being tracked and WARNED and watched?

Are those 5 kids we KNOW were exposed still going to school?

Is this the start of the DE-population plan?

We’ll see if, in the net 2-3 weeks, we have outbreaks - maybe require M. Law - lock-down and ‘sorry, no election”

"RT flights from Liberia to Dallas are $4,500+. Where did he get that kind of money? - jimbo123

Here are details about Mr. Duncan's round trip flight purchase:

"Thomas Duncan flew from Monrovia (ROB) to Brussels (BRU) on Brussels Airlines flight 1247 (SN1247) which departed ROB on Thurs. Sept. 18 and arrived in BRU early morning Fri. Sept. 19.

He did not depart BRU until the next day aboard United Airlines flight (UA951) which arrived at Dulles (IAD) the same day. He had a round-trip ticket, which was purchased on Sept. 2 from an IATA accredited travel agency in Lagos, Nigeria.

It appears his ticket was purchased by a company named “Silson Global Business Liberia Ltd.”.

His return flight was scheduled to depart Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) on Oct. 19. The return flight was scheduled for DFW-IAD-BRU-FNA (FNA is Lungi Intl Airport in Freetown, Sierra Leone).
