blind faith in your own belief is a losing strategy Not THIS one!
John 6:28-29
Then they asked him, What must we do to do the works God requires?
Jesus answered, The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.

Reflecting on the past election, it was conservatives that lost their own effort. There was no conservative candidate. There were several. That several ability reflects the fact there is no “conservative “ agreement.
There is internal conservative dissention. That dissention was evident, perhaps most evident, on Free Republic where posters came near to blows arguing minor points sometimes supported by Bible verses. Where there is no single voive or agreement there can be no primaried conservaative candidate.
There is great agreement that the GOPe powers are at fault. The fact is, conservatives chose to disagree about what they believe in most and thus failed to put forth a vaible candidate.
If the GOPc continues to fight over trivial internal issues, they will never be capable of fielding a candidate to win the primary.

Well the GOP leadership better find a Ronald Reagan in their ranks. I have a hard time believing there is not one in a country of over 300 million people.
To: bert
The GOPc will never include Jesus Christ as a leader and thus will never be acceptable to many here.
CaChing!!!
We have a winner!

The only way they could have affected ObamaCare was to withhold funds for the implementation of it and Boehner refused to do that.NO one wants the You hate CHILDREN!!! albatross around their neck at the next election!
(Considering how we manage to kill off one million future Americans before they're born every year; I, for the life of me, cannot figger how Democrats and Liberals can claim they they LOVE children...)

My biggest issue with the Palinistas is that they tied up a large % of FR threads for almost a year posting about a 2012 Palin run that was not going to happen. My biggest issue with the Mittbots is that they tied up a large % of FR threads for MANY a year; posting about a man whose chosen religion was a SURE guarantee to turn off a LARGE percentage of voters!

Citing citizenship statutes is of questionable worth because a normal act of the legislature cannot alter the Constitution (that is it cannot define/redefine Natural Born Citizen). Where is natural born citizen defined?
To: trubolotta
Cruzs mother is an American citizen. So was Obama's.

Although I feel certain you will not expend the effort, were you to study the actions of the House in recent years, you would notice that in spite of the hated Boehner, they voted to repeal Obamacare 41 times. They made efforts to shut off the debt ceiling and on and on. They voted to repeal Obamacare because the House knew it would go nowhere in the Senate. I suspect that if the GOP takes the Senate you'll never see another repeal voted on again.

He shall be Commander-in-Chief of the military forces of the State, except when they are called into actual service of the United States. He shall have power to call forth the militia to execute the laws of the State, to suppress insurrections, and to repel invasions.
When (if?) we EVER stop using the language of the left, and start ACCURATELY stating Border Invaders are what these illegal aliens, undocumented children and temporary workers are; THEN we might get somewhere!

Voting for RINOs is like drinking a glass of wine that someone urinated in.
If we did what we needed to do several election cycles back we wouldn’t be in this mess now!

When Reagan ran against Carter the GOPe tried their damnest to stop him. Thank God they failed!
If Reagan ran today a the GOPe and the FR RINO contingent would mock him and call him “unelectable.”
